About Sophia
Sophia Dunn-Walker is a French-American director whose work straddles the line between sophistication and edge. Behind the camera, she directed the short Philomele (2019) and is currently developing a sci-fi opera among a range of other bold and uncompromising projects. Legally blind, she cut her teeth in entertainment as a member of the French punk band Litige and frontwoman of Avenir Aveugle before turning to film. Her on-screen work includes Before the World Set on Fire (2023), Haunting of the Queen Mary (2023), Dogbite (2025), and the long-running Bold and the Beautiful. In 2025, her production company, Enkidu Productions, co-produced the Sundance-backed documentary Vestibule and continues to support artists with disabilities.
